Teaser Tuesday: Building From Ashes by Elizabeth Hunter

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Read on for this weeks teasers...

I've just finished reading the four books in the Elemental Mysteries Series by Elizabeth Hunter, and have thoroughly enjoyed them. Thankfully she's continuing on with the world with the Elemental World Series and I'm currently reading book one which stars Carwyn (a good friend of Giovanni and Beatrice from the Elemental Mysteries) a thousand year old vampire who is a priest. He finally finds a love interest, Bridgid. I'm enjoying this book just as much as the others and would highly recommend them to any Vampire/Paranormal Romance lover.
Building From Ashes (Elemental World #1) by Elizabeth Hunter

Here are my two teaser sentences.

'He laughed in her ear. Leaning down, he whispered, “Silly Brigid. Love is friendship. Just with less clothes, which makes it far more brilliant.”' - Pg 400

'“Can I help?”
“Why do men always offer to help when the job is almost finished?”
He grinned and grabbed two plates. “We’re smart that way. Why ruin the rare pleasure of watching a woman see to your needs?”
Now why did that make her skin heat? He was talking about food. Wasn’t he? Brigid shoved back the other images that sprang to her mind.
Wasn’t he?' - Pg 255

My teasers are from 2 different pages as it may have been a bit too spoilery from the one.
(Page numbers refer to iBooks copy of 467 pages)

PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT with either the link to your own Teaser Tuesdays post so I can visit your blog, or share your ‘teasers’ in a comment here (if you don’t have a blog). Thanks!
